ABC STEP PROGRAM

Evaluate Your Program Using ABC's Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Awards System

The Safety Training and Evaluation Process, or STEP, program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. By participating, here’s what the STEP program will do:

  • Provide you with an organized approached to analyze and further develop your safety & loss prevention program;
  • Provide a valid, objective method to measure safety program improvements;
  • Provide your company with safety performance recognition that can be used as an important business development tool with clients.
In addition to giving your company national recognition for its safety efforts, the STEP program also helps the ABC National Safety Committee better identify the safety needs of our members. By targeting those needs, we can more effectively develop safety-related materials and programs that will directly benefit your company. STEP continues to evolve to assist in better serving our members, and we thank you for your participation.
